In a different era this venue was an enchanting San Francisco speakeasy. It later became the first Moroccan restaurant in the United States. On January 1, 2017, Jay Alexander bought the theater, striving to combine the old world charm of the speakeasy with a Morrocan flair, adding his style of entertainment to bring you a night of mystery, intrigue and sophistication you will never forget. Jay Alexander is the great-grandson of the legendary vaudeville performer, Gentleman Ben Darwin. As a child, Jay found a trunk in his grandparent’s attic that was filled with magical apparatus and escape illusions. His interest in magic was born with this discovery.
